Exchange Club of the Tri-Cities, IL Foundation
For more nearly 40 years, men and women of the Tri-Cities area — St. Charles, Geneva and Batavia — have joined together to serve their communities by embracing the Tri-Cities Exchange Club’s main missions — prevention of child abuse, promotion of patriotism, and recognition of student achievements.
The Tri-Cities Exchange Club Foundation has donated money to numerous charitable organizations and causes through the years, staying focused on its main goals — prevention of child abuse, promotion of patriotism and supporting community initiatives. The Foundation has, on average over the last few years, donated $20,000 per year to organizations such as those listed here.
The following agencies have benefited from the club’s fund-raising efforts and/or offering manpower to aid their events:
- TriCity Family Services
- Salvation Army Tri-Cities Corps
- Fox Valley Christian Action Center (Riverwoods)
- Royal Camp for Kids
- CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates)
- Kane County Juvenile Drug Court
- Fox Valley Pregnancy Center
- Mutual Ground
- Embrace the Family
- Lazarus House
- Changing Children’s World Foundation
Additionally, the club distributes small American flags to children at local parades. The club also conducts the ACE Awards every May recognizing students that have overcome significant challenges to reach high school graduation.
