Catarina began her career in finance in 2014, when she joined a large team at Merrill Lynch as a Registered Client Associate. She joined IHT Wealth Management in October of 2016 as an Onboarding Consultant, helping advisors move their practice to IHT. She is now the Chief Development Officer at IHT, still onboarding new Advisors and their teams, and also helping to run the day to day operations at IHT.

Having completed over 130 Advisor transitions, she understands that every book of business is different and that it is important to build custom and streamlined transition plans for each advisor. Catarina’s primary goal is to be there for the Advisor through the entire process, always ensuring they know what to expect next and making sure they never feel like they are in over their head. Karim Poonawala, or KP as his clients lovingly call him, is a wealth manager living and working in Orlando, FL. He moved to Orlando (from East Lansing, Michigan) in 1985 and has lived in Central Florida ever since. He became a stockbroker almost three decades ago and has helped hundreds of clients and their families. He graduated with a degree in Business (BA) from Michigan State University and MBA with a specialty in finance from the Crummer Graduate School Business at Rollins College. Alex Papadopoulos has been providing financial and wealth management advice to his clients since 1999. He provides individuals, families, and small businesses with guidance and education in all areas of wealth management, including retirement planning, portfolio construction, risk management, and wealth-transfer needs. He earned the designation of Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist™ from the College of Financial Planning and is one of the senior wealth advisors at IHT Wealth Management.

Alex’s investment philosophy begins with the central belief that his clients’ unique goals and objectives are the starting point for a road map to pursuing their life goals. He also specializes in creating socially responsible investment portfolios.  Most recently he received the new designation of CSRIC® or Chartered SRI Counselor. The CSRIC professional designation is a groundbreaking certification in the fast-growing field of sustainable, responsible and impact investing (SRI).Â
