Daniel Henry

Dan Henry has spent his entire 18+ year professional career in financial services, beginning with five years as a commodities trader at a proprietary firm affiliated with the Chicago Board of Trade and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.  Dan traded financial futures and options contracts, as well as commodity contracts like oil and gold, across global markets.  He lived and traded in London, United Kingdom as he enhanced his knowledge of markets and economics and developed his risk management skills.  This experience taught him invaluable lessons on keeping a global perspective, as well as the joy of travel and experiencing new cultures.

Dan then transitioned his career to JPMorgan Chase where he worked in a variety of roles including Broker-Dealer Operations Manager, Senior Training Specialist, and most recently as a Financial Advisor.  In his five years as an advisor, Dan developed his passion for financial planning and helping his clients better understand the process of portfolio construction and asset allocation.  He believes that when clients have a robust financial plan in place, decisions surrounding subsequent financial decisions become far clearer and easier to navigate.

Dan works with his clients in a collaborative manner and believes that when planning, risk management, and portfolio architecture come together client outcomes are materially enhanced.  Dan enjoys working with his clients to educate them and remove some of the mystery and confusion around investing and planning.  This approach makes it possible for his clients to play a bigger part in the investment selection and planning process.

Dan and his wife Erin live in Downers Grove, IL with their two young sons.  When not busy at home they enjoy traveling and seeing live music.
