Jay Cummings

Jay grew up in the Overland Park area of Kansas City and attended Bishop Miege High School. Growing up, his family ran a small business and he witnessed first-hand how difficult it can be to achieve multiple, competing financial goals with limited or varying resources. He developed a passion for educating people on how to effectively and efficiently manage their money and other financial resources to achieve their personal goals despite the adversities of everyday life.

Jay earned his bachelors degree (BSBA) from the University of Central Missouri with a double major in Marketing and Management, followed by his Masters Degree in Business (MBA) from Rockhurst University. He earned the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ in September of 2013 and specializes in Retirement Accumulation and Income Planning, Investment Planning, Tax and Estate planning, and working with Business Owners. He has been serving clients since 2006 and joined nVision wealth in 2013.

Jay and his wife, Jenni, are kept busy raising their two boys, Caiden (12) and Lincoln (9). Jay regularly volunteers with his sons boy scout troop, serves as the Head Coach for Caidens competitive baseball team and Assistant Coach for Lincolns baseball team. When the family isnt busy with baseball or Boy Scouts, they enjoy camping, outdoor activities, and watching movies together. Jay also looks forward to playing golf with friends and likes to read books.
