Jon Metz

Jon is a Retirement Plan Consultant and Lead Advisor at FoxHedge Advisors, where he partners with business owners, retirement plan committees, and individual investors to help them develop and implement strategies aligned with their financial goals. Drawing on years of experience in retirement plan consulting and wealth management, Jon provides strategic guidance designed to help clients navigate complex financial decisions with confidence.

Jon’s interest in financial services began during college after taking a Math for the Real-World course that explored investing, loan amortization, and personal finance fundamentals. The experience transformed his perspective on money and inspired him to pursue a career dedicated to financial education and planning.

Jon is passionate about helping organizations develop effective retirement programs and helping individuals make informed decisions in pursuit of their long-term financial goals. Prior to joining FoxHedge Advisors, Jon served as a retirement plan specialist and consultant for a The Vanguard Group, helping business owners evaluate their financial needs and implement tailored retirement plan solutions. Today, he continues to advise employers on retirement plan design, fiduciary best practices, and participant outcomes, while also working closely with individuals and families on wealth management strategies.

Outside the office, Jon enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Whether tending the family’s herb garden, cheering on basketball games and dance recitals, or exploring new destinations together, family remains at the center of his life.
