Ryan joined the IHT team as a Financial Planning Assistant focused on strengthening the client experience. He graduated from the University of South Florida with his Bachelor’s of Science in Personal Financial Planning in December of 2019.
He currently holds his Securities Industries Essentials and the Florida 2-15 Life, Health, and Variable Annuity Agent License. He is now looking to obtain his Series 7 General Securities Representative and Series 66 Uniform Combined State Law examinations to pursue his goal of becoming a Financial Advisor. While in college, Ryan also completed all the necessary coursework to sit for the Certified Financial Planner Examination, which he hopes to obtain in the near future.
Ryan was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL before moving to Tampa, FL in 2006.
When Ryan is not in the office or studying, he enjoys fishing the flats, spending time with family, and playing football with friends.

He also spends time coaching high school football at Loyola Academy and enjoys a wide variety of sports including, golf, biking, swimming and staying active through general fitness. Tim volunteers his time at Elyssa’s Mission, a foundation based on suicide prevention among young at-risk students, and has previously served on their board.

Ed has worked in financial services since earning his B.S.B.A. from Valparaiso University in 2004. As a designated Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor CRPC®, Ed’s main focus is helping individuals and families with all phases of retirement planning (wealth accumulation, income distribution, and estate planning.)

Next, he will develop a customized strategy based on your risk tolerance, time horizon, and liquidity needs. Kurt has been working as a Financial Advisor for over 25 years. His experience allows him to adhere to a disciplined process that delivers a consistent, yet customized wealth management experience. Before any financial decisions are made, he takes the time to fully understand who his clients are and what matters most to them as individuals and business professionals.
With this intimate knowledge of what his client’s value most, Kurt is able to help establish objectives, develop an appropriate strategy, and recommend potential solutions. He conducts regular reviews to help monitor his clients’ progress toward reaching their goals and keeps their strategies consistent with any changes that may take place in their life and/or business.
After long and distinguished career at JP Morgan’s Private Bank and it predecessor’s banks, building one of the most client focused teams in Chicago, Kurt left to join IHT Wealth Management in August of 2019. At IHT, he acts as Wealth Advisor and in a fiduciary manner on his clients’ behalf. He has his BS in Business Administration from Illinois Wesleyan and an MBA in Finance from DePaul University. Kurt’s clients include Organizations, successful families from Business owners, Professionals and Big Four partners. Although based in Chicago, his clients are located throughout the country and usually represent multiple generations of the families.
Kurt and his wife Laurie live in Naperville, IL. Kurt is a former board member with the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, serves as an Ambassador for the Foundation. Kurt with his family are active with the Shining Stars Foundation, serving children and young adults with life threating illness.
Ryan Wittig provides the highly individualized client service; and focuses on offering financial solutions that address risk tolerance, time horizon, liquidity needs, and overall investment goals for individuals and their families. He is committed to developing a clear, actionable plan for ensuring that all assets are working toward helping clients achieve what matters most.
Ryan advises clients on wealth accumulation and preservation through the creation of individually customized wealth management strategies. This process includes portfolio analysis, retirement planning, tax-efficiency and hedging strategies, and asset protection—with a specific emphasis on helping to pursue a lifetime income stream during retirement.
Ryan began his career in 1999 at Prudential Financial. He joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2002, before joining IHT Wealth Management as senior vice president.
Ryan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, which is a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planning Board of Standards, Inc. He graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a degree in finance in 1999, and currently resides in Chicago.
