Advisor Team
Mike has built his practice by cultivating long-term relationships, coaching clients through the discovery and personal planning process, and reinforcing his core belief of mutual trust and transparency. Mike does this by focusing on his client’s goals and objectives and by managing an integrated approach to wealth management through Financial Planning, Educating, Tax Planning Strategies, Estate Planning, leveraging the right technology, and much more. Everything is explored and covered. Unlike the traditional ala-carte model of separate services and commissions, Mike’s practice is an all-encompassing fee-based practice.
Mike was raised in the Kansas City area and attended Johnson County Community College on a basketball scholarship. He then attended the University of Kansas. After working for Sprint for ten years in multiple roles including Sales, Operations, Project Management, and Product Management, Mike chose to pursue his passion of Wealth Management. He joined American Express Financial Advisors in 2004, which became Ameriprise Financial in 2005 where Mike continued to work through 2012 before joining LPL Financial and a group of advisors to help create what is now nVision Wealth.
Mike lives in Overland Park, KS with his wife Carla and their children Tucker, Wrigley, and Cooper. Mike is a huge college basketball fan (Rock Chalk Jayhawk) and die-hard NFL and fantasy football fan. When not attending his children’s school and sporting events, he loves to play golf with wife and friends.
John Rossitto works with clients in Life Planning. He first works with his clients to identify the foundational values that are most important to them. Having laid the foundation, he and his clients work together to design a financial structure that incorporates one’s dreams, goals and personal abilities. In building this structure, they work through issues of spending, saving, investing and giving.  With state of the art resources, John puts on the finishing touches, which compliment his clients’ financial structure. He assists in putting in place appropriate risk management tools as well as design investment portfolios that strive to meet the needs of the clients he serves. John then monitors their progress through the paths of life, reviewing, refurbishing and remodeling their financial structure to meet the changes that life brings.
I was once asked to describe my life in 5 words or less so with limited time I came up with Authentic, Transparent, Enthusiastic, Resourceful, and Loyal. As an established advisor those characteristics have guided my professional life as well as shaped my personal life as a husband, father, and mentor.
I believe the first step on the path to getting where you want to go starts with an honest conversation and once we determine the right direction together, I’ll help you stay the course through regular portfolio reviews and accessibility on YOUR schedule. Client relationships are the foundation of my practice and I hope to earn your trust and the role of your advisor for not just years, but generations to come. Financial planning doesn’t have to be difficult, and you don’t have to do it alone, I am here to support you. I realize that this business can be intimidating and sometimes overwhelming, therefore I want to reduce client stress by joking that “I’m closer to Main Street than Wall Streetâ€. Our firm doesn’t strive to be someone else, we just want to be the best version of us!
I believe every journey is unique and so are your financial needs, so I listen to your goals and help develop tailored plans and objective recommendations. Being an independent financial advisor offers me the flexibility to adjust client strategies to accommodate changes in lifestyle, family, and career. So no top down corporate directives, canned solutions, or cookie cutter strategies! We manage your finances so they don’t manage you, and that equates to financial confidence. Our purpose is to identify and create plans that will simplify our client’s lives and empower them with options and confidence.
I love spending time outdoors including hunting, coaching youth teams, golf, Spring Training and OU Football. Volunteerism is an important to my wife Tammy and I as we have both served on multiple committees and non-profit groups serving their community.
