Brian entered the financial industry over 27 years ago with the love of investing and the possibility that what people work so hard for may be protected through comprehensive wealth management. Being a college level athlete and now coaching his two boys in their own athletic goals, Brian also embraced the idea of working as his client’s financial head coach. At IHT Wealth Management, Brian coordinates the services of all professionals (CPAs, estate attorneys and insurance planners) to design his clients’ financial strategies situations and all they want to accomplish to work towards managing the intended goals.

Brian strives to develop financial strategies for his clients that take on the least amount of risk and generate the greatest potential return. He pursues this by understanding what is important to his clients both personally and financially and believes communication is a vital component in the relationship he has with his clients. Delivering advice based on a long history in the market also helps to instill in his clients the confidence that they are making informed decisions. Markets fluctuate but Brian’s highly personalized client service experience helps him work together with his clients towards their intended goals.

Prior to joining IHT Wealth Management Brian spent several years with prestigious firms like GMO, Merrill Lynch and A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc., building on clients’ investable assets.

Brian is involved with a wide range of town activities such as the youth soccer, hockey, and baseball clubs. Brian and his wife Michelle, a 2nd grade teacher in Braintree, have two sons, Colin, and Andrew.

Marilyn Friedman has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining IHT Wealth Management, she worked at Metlife/Mass Mutual, Oppenheimer, and Cook County Hospital exclusively selling Sec. 457 Deferred Compensation retirement programs to more than 6,000 employees. An accomplished public speaker, she has held over 100 seminars on various financial investment topics throughout her career.

As a Financial Advisor, Marilyn assisters her clients with stock, bond and mutual fund transactions. She also possesses Life and Health Licenses in the State of Illinois, which helps her clients with health and long-term care insurance. She also offers customized asset management services to help satisfy each client’s specific requirements and utilizes professional money managers to assist with planning clients’ needs.

Marilyn’s goal as a Financial Advisor is to help select and monitor suitable investments. She is committed to educating these clients about wealth preservation and protection as well as the careful strategy involved in preparing for and during their retirement. She is dedicated to efficient service and ongoing communications with her clients. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL and resides in Lincoln Park with her daughter.

Tim is committed to helping clients navigate these challenges to make financial independence a reality.

With 42 years of industry experience, he has experienced both challenging and rewarding market cycles and offers clients a seasoned perspective that empowers them to pursue their goals. Prior to becoming a financial advisor in 2004, he spent 22 years on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade operating a successful commodities brokerage firm.

When Tim is not working with clients, he spends time with his family, including his wife Katie and his six children. He also spends time coaching high school football at Loyola Academy and enjoys a wide variety of sports including, golf, biking, swimming and staying active through general fitness. Tim volunteers his time at Elyssa’s Mission, a foundation based on suicide prevention among young at-risk students, and has previously served on their board.

Chris Davidson serves as Senior Vice President for IHT Wealth Management, overseeing management of client assets while engaging professionals and business owners in growing and protecting wealth. Chris’ experience allows him to adhere to a disciplined process that delivers a highly customized wealth management experience.

In March of 2017, Chris joined LPL Financial, the nation’s largest Independent Broker/Dealer (as reported by Financial Planning Magazine, June 1996-2018 based on total revenue) to bring even more resources and capabilities to his clients. At LPL, Chris acts as a fiduciary on his clients’ behalf, and serves as both a CERTIFIED FINANICAL PLANNER™ Practitioner and a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® for his clients.

Chris takes time to gain knowledge of what each of his clients value most, Chris is able to help establish clear objectives, develop appropriate strategies, recommend solutions, and coordinate with his clients’ other professional advisors to bring a truly comprehensive approach to financial planning. Chris conducts regular reviews to monitor clients’ progress toward their goals and ensure consistency with any changes that may take place in their lives or their business.

Chris earned his Bachelors of Science in Finance from the University of South Florida in 2007. Chris then began his career at Ameriprise Financial, one of the nation’s leading financial planning firms. During his time at Ameriprise, Chris helped hundreds of individuals, families, and entrepreneurs achieve their goals in addition to earning many of Ameriprise’s top accolades. Chris also spent several years in leadership and was recognized as one of the top 10 branch managers in May 2016 by On Wall St. Magazine.

Chris is an avid golfer, having won and placed top 3 in several Florida State Golf Association one-day tournaments throughout Florida. Chris lives in Tampa, FL with his wife Sasha and two sons, Bryce and Dax.

Jay grew up in the Overland Park area of Kansas City and attended Bishop Miege High School. Growing up, his family ran a small business and he witnessed first-hand how difficult it can be to achieve multiple, competing financial goals with limited or varying resources. He developed a passion for educating people on how to effectively and efficiently manage their money and other financial resources to achieve their personal goals despite the adversities of everyday life.

Jay earned his bachelor’s degree (BSBA) from the University of Central Missouri with a double major in Marketing and Management, followed by his Master’s Degree in Business (MBA) from Rockhurst University. He earned the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ in September of 2013 and specializes in Retirement Accumulation and Income Planning, Investment Planning, Tax and Estate planning, and working with Business Owners. He has been serving clients since 2006 and joined nVision wealth in 2013.

Jay and his wife, Jenni, are kept busy raising their two boys, Caiden (12) and Lincoln (9). Jay regularly volunteers with his sons’ boy scout troop, serves as the Head Coach for Caiden’s competitive baseball team and Assistant Coach for Lincoln’s baseball team. When the family isn’t busy with baseball or Boy Scouts, they enjoy camping, outdoor activities, and watching movies together. Jay also looks forward to playing golf with friends and likes to read books.
